WorldCaspian 2026 exercise helps rescuers from Caspian states establish contacts
The Caspian 2026 international exercise brought together rescue workers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in Astrakhan for the first time since 2016. About 300 rescuers and more than 70 specialized vehicles, aircraft and watercraft practiced responses to incidents including fires, chemical accidents, oil spills, building collapses and traffic accidents.
