Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi rejected plans to displace Palestinians from Gaza during a visit by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. His remarks followed Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz’s pledge that the army would “finish the job” in Gaza to enable a migration plan. Abbas said Gaza remains an integral part of the Palestinian state.
