Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said 81 companies are now authorized to form private air defense units, up from 51 in mid-July. As Russia conducts near-hourly drone attacks and increasingly targets civilian infrastructure, businesses are joining the program to protect workers and facilities while easing pressure on military air defenses.
