The second phase of the CSTO’s Rubezh 2026 exercise has begun at Kazakhstan’s Koktal training ground. About 1,500 personnel and more than 300 pieces of military and specialized equipment are involved, including 115 UAVs. Troops from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are practicing operations against simulated illegal armed groups, attacks, explosive devices and drones.
