Russian Major General Anton Grunis, commander of the 4th Motorized Rifle Brigade, has been confirmed killed. Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces commander Robert Brovdi said Grunis died in a Ukrainian drone strike in Donetsk region on September 12. Brovdi identified him as the officer who briefed Putin on the capture of Kostiantynivka, which Russian forces still do not fully control.
