BRICS countries must strengthen financial sovereignty and shift toward settlements in national currencies, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said. He urged members and others defending sovereignty and independence to move beyond discussions and pilot projects toward practical cooperation that can shield them from destructive external influence.
