China Southern Power Grid said at the 2026 International Digital Energy Expo that about 80% of Shenzhen’s field inspection work can now be done remotely. Its visual monitoring platform manages 160,000 cameras and accesses more than 60,000 municipal video feeds, while AI helps detect potential hazards. The company also displayed a digital twin of the grid and a power-market solver for the Southern Regional Electricity Market.
