TechAnthropic to build $31bn datacentre in western Queensland, premier says
Queensland Premier David Crisafulli says Anthropic has leased the site of its first Australian datacentre at a planned digital park near Dalby. Zerra DC will build the facility, which is expected to open next year at a reported cost of A$31.9bn and connect to the Braemar power station. Crisafulli called the project a major win for jobs and the state’s grid.
