Jamyang Choephel Jampa Gyaltsen, recognized as the 6th Gangchen Tulku Rinpoche, was formally enthroned Tuesday at Gangchen Monastery in Sakya County, Xizang Autonomous Region. The succession followed the wishes of the late 5th Gangchen Tulku Rinpoche and was attended by Buddhist masters, monastic representatives, pilgrims and local believers.
