Tech“Filmmaker” suing PassThePopcorn may be banned user seeking revenge

Private torrent trackers used to pirate movies suspect that a banned user posed as filmmaker Matthew Schneider and sued six sites, including PassThePopcorn, over alleged copyright infringement. The actual filmmaker whose movies were cited in the complaint declared under oath that he has no connection to the plaintiff or the case.
