ScienceRoman telescope has enough fuel for 22 years, twice NASA’s expectation
NASA says the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope’s highly precise launch and first trajectory correction left it with a much larger fuel reserve than planned. The $4.3 billion observatory was designed for five years of operations, with a possible five-year extension, but could now support at least 22 years of science work.
