Iranian authorities have lifted a ban on government agencies using foreign messaging apps, government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said. She stressed that official correspondence will not be conducted through them, saying the move aims to respond quickly to doubts and planted information and counter psychological operations and the information war against Iran.
