TechAgility’s new humanoid robot will stop or squat to avoid harming human coworkers

Agility Robotics has introduced Digit 5, a humanoid robot designed to work safely alongside people. When it detects a nearby person, it can move away or stop to let them pass, and at very close range it can squat into a seated position to reduce the risk of harm.
