Wildfires in Indonesia have moved to within 200 metres of Rangkong station, a satellite of the long-running Cabang Panti orangutan research site in Gunung Palung national park. Hundreds of critically endangered Bornean orangutans are fleeing burning forests. More than 40 people are fighting the blaze, but scientists say it could reach Cabang Panti within 20 days.
