Ningbo Rail Transit Line 12 began a six-day free trial on Monday, attracting heavy crowds and prompting crowd-control advisories. The 61.5-kilometer line has 10 stations, connects the city center with Xiangshan County in about 30 minutes, and offers each person two free rides during the trial.
