More than four million voters have applied for remote electronic voting in Russia’s upcoming State Duma elections, Central Election Commission Chairwoman Ella Pamfilova said. Applications from 32 regions are still being processed; residents of 33 regions will be able to vote online. The ninth State Duma election is scheduled for September 18–20.
