EU purchases of Russian pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas totaled 8.6 billion euros in January-July 2026, down 2.6%, according to Eurostat data and TASS calculations. In July, EU countries paid 607 million euros for Russian LNG, led by France, Belgium and Spain.
