The Houthi-controlled Yemeni foreign ministry in Sana’a says shipping through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait is proceeding normally and warnings about navigational dangers are misleading. It called Saudi Arabia’s claims baseless and said nearly 85 ships crossed in the past 72 hours, about 96% of usual traffic.
