TechGM updates truck software to coexist with CarPlay

General Motors is rolling out a redesigned interface for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, intended to reduce tapping and swiping for frequently used controls. The system will also introduce picture-in-picture projection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with updated driver-assistance graphics and simpler trailering and off-road layouts.
