SportsNairobi to host World Athletics Championships in 2029

Nairobi will host the 2029 World Athletics Championships after defeating bids from London, Munich and Rome, World Athletics announced. The Kenyan capital will become the first African host of the event. Munich was selected for 2031, while Beijing will host in 2027.
