TechChina’s highest-altitude 750 kV substation transmits over 11.6 billion kWh of clean power in three years

CHN Energy’s Yunshan Substation in Qinghai’s Tongde County, located 3,365 meters above sea level, has transmitted more than 11.6 billion kWh of clean electricity during its first three years of operation. It gathers hydropower and other clean power from the Ma’erdang Hydropower Station and nearby areas, supporting the Qinghai Henan ultra-high-voltage direct-current project.
