WorldPoll: 54% in eastern Germany say arms deliveries to Ukraine are excessive
An ARD-Deutschlandtrend poll found that 54% of respondents in eastern Germany considered arms deliveries to Ukraine excessive, compared with 39% in the west. Although 56% of Germans viewed Russia as a strong or very strong threat, that view was less common in the east and among AfD supporters. The poll also showed declining support for Ukraine in recent years.
