Russian presidential aide Nikolay Patrushev said Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and other Polish leaders were reviving “unhealthy ambitions” by speaking of restoring Poland’s greatness, creating a “sanitary cordon” against Russia and shielding Europe from a “mythical” Russian threat. Patrushev also recalled being surprised by Sikorski’s limited knowledge of history and Russia.
