ScienceMass nesting brings swarms of turtles to Mexican beach
Thousands of olive ridley turtles reached La Escobilla beach in Oaxaca, Mexico, within 48 hours to lay eggs, sanctuary officials said. The event, known as “la arribada” or “the arrival”, is the sixth nesting wave since the season began in March.
