ScienceChina donates Chang’e-6 samples from Moon’s far side to UN
China formally handed lunar samples collected by Chang’e-6 from the Moon’s far side to the United Nations on Monday. The specimens, the first ever obtained by humanity from the far side, will be displayed permanently at the UN Office in Vienna. More than 400 people attended the jointly organized handover ceremony.
