The 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum on international security opened in Beijing on September 15 for a three-day session attended by official representatives from about 100 countries, regions and international organizations. More than 60 participants are defense chiefs or chiefs of general staff. Organizers describe the forum as a platform for openness, inclusiveness and China’s military diplomacy.
