TechChina issues world's first standard for AI-powered BCI medical devices

China's National Medical Products Administration has approved the world's first product standard for brain-computer interface medical devices that use AI to process EEG data. It sets technical and testing requirements across the data lifecycle, from collection and processing to storage and access, and will take effect on September 1 next year.
