The House Rules Committee advanced legislation tightening sanctions on Russia and sent it to the full House. The bill targets senior Russian political and military officials and state-owned companies, adds secondary sanctions on trading partners, and would permit 100% tariffs on major buyers of Russian oil and gas. It also includes tighter sanctions on Iran.
