TRON’s draft migration design could leave some accounts unable to replace keys after governance disables the signature scheme they rely on, even though a separate permission may still let them make payments. A recovery route would require surviving keys to meet the account’s owner threshold; a backup key authorized only for payments would not suffice. TIP-899 remains a draft, and mainnet activation has not been established.
