ScienceRosatom to launch three more depleted uranium processing units
Rosatom may build three additional depleted uranium processing units in the medium term, TVEL President Natalya Nikipelova said. The units will use Russian technology. A second unit launched at the Electrochemical Plant in Zelenogorsk has doubled Russia’s annual depleted uranium hexafluoride processing capacity to 20,000 tons.
