Russia’s approved creative-industry development strategy targets an increase in the sector’s GDP contribution from 4.2% in 2025 to 7.7% by 2036. The government also aims to raise the number of companies and individual entrepreneurs in the sector by 22% from 2025. More than 4 million people currently work in it.
