Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh called the Erdeneburen Hydropower Plant an important result of practical Mongolia-China cooperation and said Mongolia would use the project to deepen collaboration with China in energy and infrastructure. China said it would support a high-quality landmark project. The 90-megawatt plant is expected to stabilize electricity supplies in five western provinces.
