WorldUNDP and China advance South-South cooperation benefiting nearly 20 million
At a seminar in Hangzhou, the UNDP in China highlighted 39 South-South development projects carried out with Chinese government support since 2011. Implemented in 26 countries, the initiatives address disaster recovery, education, vocational training, poverty and green technology, benefiting nearly 20 million people. Participants called for expanded cooperation so digital transformation and AI create opportunities without deepening inequality.
