HealthBangladesh launches three-month nationwide dengue prevention campaign

Bangladesh has begun a three-month nationwide dengue prevention campaign, inaugurated in Dhaka by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday. Running through December 12, it will coordinate government, private-sector and social initiatives and involve tens of thousands of volunteers in awareness and cleanup efforts. Dengue has killed 143 people and infected 50,276 across the country this year.
