Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi said a meeting of Gulf and Iranian foreign ministers planned for September 14 in Oman was postponed “in the interests of consensus.” The talks were expected to cover regional issues and the outcome of Iranian-Omani discussions on safe commercial navigation routes through the Strait of Hormuz.
