WorldTV: Southern Syrian areas shelled by Israeli troops
Israeli artillery shelled the Ain al-Shaara and Harboun areas in southern Syria’s demilitarized zone, Al-Ikhbariya reported. The channel said the fire came from Israeli positions in the occupied Golan Heights and was followed by fires. Shells also landed near Beit Jinn. Syria’s foreign minister condemned the escalation and called for an Israeli withdrawal.
