Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has sanctioned his former press secretary Yulia Mendel for ten years. The decree also targets 20 vessels Kyiv claims belong to Russia, along with 29 Russian nationals and 29 companies. Mendel has sharply criticized Zelensky’s policies, repeatedly pointing to failures by Ukraine’s leadership, including in the military sphere, that she says have caused huge losses.
