EconomyBRICS to lead in nuclear power generation, Rosatom CEO says

Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev said BRICS countries would eventually lead not only in energy production and consumption but also in nuclear power generation. He cited India’s forecast that energy use will rise 2.5-fold by 2050, with nuclear facilities totaling up to 100 GW to be built by 2047.
