TechCritical Bitcoin Lightning bugs exposed nodes to fund theft and restart failure
Lightning Development Kit v0.2.6 fixes two vulnerabilities in Bitcoin Lightning applications. A malicious peer could redirect a small amount of funds during a splice initiated by a node, while a separate flaw could prevent saved channel state from loading and disrupt normal restarts. The release reported no observed losses or exploited applications.
