Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan at the BRICS summit for the highest-level contact between the two sides since the conflict began. Despite Iranian attacks on the UAE, both supported calls for restraint. Bahrain declined to meet Pezeshkian.
