The next US-mediated Israel-Lebanon talks, planned for Rome, have been postponed until October as Israeli forces continue strikes and demolitions in southern Lebanon. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said there would be no new negotiations with Israel for now. Explosions and shelling hit Nabatieh and nearby areas, where attacks have killed at least 29 people over the past two weeks.
