WorldNew York marks 25th anniversary of 9/11 attacks

New Yorkers gathered at the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan on Friday to honor those killed in the attacks 25 years ago. Families read victims’ names, while Vice President JD Vance and four former presidents attended. Blue lights illuminated city landmarks, and the ceremony newly included a silent tribute to thousands who later died from illnesses linked to toxic dust.
