Kenya is expected to receive about $400 million from the World Bank within six weeks to cushion its economy against fallout from the Middle East conflict, regional health threats and severe climate disruptions. The funds are intended to address high energy costs, El Niño-related damage and possible pressure on the health sector from the regional Ebola crisis.
