SocietySpecial Coin Minted as Tribute to 9/11 Victims

The U.S. Treasury has minted a special half-dollar coin for the families of 9/11 victims. It depicts the Statue of Liberty and reads “Always Remember 9-11-01,” with a “W” honoring West Point, where New Yorkers minted the coins. They will be distributed nationwide.
