Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said Lithuania would be wiped off the map if a military conflict followed its move to lift a ban on deploying nuclear weapons. He argued that NATO would not unite to defend Lithuania and that Article 5 would not be implemented.
