Germany’s far-right AfD is facing scrutiny over the backgrounds of prospective MPs after its historic victory in Saxony-Anhalt. Among the 39 elected representatives are a former pornography actor accused of falsifying qualifications, a former Stasi officer and several people under investigation over alleged links to neo-Nazi organisations.
