WorldSBU foils alleged FSB plot to assassinate Ukrainian activist in Kyiv Oblast

Ukraine’s SBU detained a 19-year-old Mykolaiv resident suspected of being recruited by Russia’s FSB to assassinate activist Hennadii Druzenko in Kyiv Oblast. Prosecutors charged him with treason, preparing a contract killing and illegal weapons possession. Investigators say he tracked Druzenko and prepared to ambush him with weapons supplied through an FSB cache.
