PoliticsEU gives final green light to €6 billion in defense aid for Ukraine, Patriot missile purchase

The European Commission approved a €6.1 billion defense-aid tranche for Ukraine and authorized Kyiv to use the EU’s €90 billion support loan to buy U.S.-made PAC-3 Patriot interceptors. The decision does not mean immediate delivery, as Patriot interceptors are in short supply worldwide.
