EconomyOPEC+ output falls by 980,000 bpd in August, remains below target — IEA
Oil production by OPEC+ countries participating in the output-cut agreement fell by 980,000 barrels per day in August, the IEA said. Their target was 34.27 million bpd, but actual output was 27 million bpd, leaving production about 7.26 million bpd below plan. Total OPEC+ output fell by 1.46 million bpd to 33.11 million bpd.
