Society$15m fund launched to create ‘unstoppable momentum’ to end FGM worldwide

Frontline activists have welcomed the launch of a $15.5m fund to help end female genital mutilation, which has affected more than 230 million women and girls. The Her Horizon Fund, established by the Wallace Global Fund, aims to raise $100m for survivor-led community work as donor support declines and progress toward the UN’s 2030 elimination goal falls behind schedule.
